Agreeing to these terms
By registering for a DAPAWz account, or by using the app without an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use DAPAWz.
The service
DAPAWz is an app that lets you:
- Browse and enroll your dog in training programs run by our partner trainers.
- Search and reserve hotel/boarding stays for your dog at our facility.
- Manage your dogs' profiles, including medical and vaccination information you choose to provide.
DAPAWz currently operates on a cash-only basis: you place an order in the app and pay in person at the facility. Online payment is planned for the future but isn't available yet.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- The information you give us — about yourself and your dog — must be accurate. Inaccurate medical, behavioral, or vaccination information can put your dog and others at risk; see "Your dog's stay and training" below.
- Manager (staff) accounts can only be created by an existing Manager, through the in-app invite flow. If you're issued a Manager account, you're expected to use it only for legitimate facility operations.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This is blocked while you have active bookings or enrollments, or if you're the facility's sole remaining Manager — in those cases, resolve or transfer them first.
Bookings, orders, and payment
When you place a booking or enroll in a program, an order is created with a "pending payment" status. You pay in cash at the facility, and a Manager confirms the payment in the app. The Manager may adjust the recorded amount to match what was actually collected — for example if a discount was applied in person. You can review your order and payment history in the app at any time.
Cancellations and refunds
For hotel bookings, our cancellation policy is:
- 72 hours or more before check-in: full refund.
- 24 to 72 hours before check-in: 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours before check-in: no refund.
Because DAPAWz is cash-only, a "refund" means the facility returning cash already collected, or waiving an amount still owed — a Manager handles this in person or by prior arrangement. Training program cancellations are handled case by case with facility staff; ask before enrolling if you need specifics.
Your dog's stay and training
Boarding and training a dog carries inherent risk. Even with reasonable care, dogs can be injured, become ill, have behavioral incidents with other dogs, or — rarely — die, particularly where a dog has an undisclosed medical condition, is not properly vaccinated, or has undisclosed aggressive or reactive behavior.
You're responsible for providing complete and accurate medical, behavioral, and vaccination information for each dog you register, and for disclosing any condition or behavior that could affect your dog's safety or the safety of others at the facility. The facility may refuse or end a stay if a dog poses a health or safety risk that wasn't disclosed.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, DAPAWz's total liability to you for any claim arising from a booking or enrollment — including for injury, illness, loss, or death of your dog while in our care — is limited to the amount you paid for that specific booking or enrollment, except where the harm results from our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
If you're a consumer based in the European Union or European Economic Area, this section doesn't remove any statutory consumer protection rights you have under your local law — those apply in addition to, and where they conflict, in place of, the limits above.
Acceptable use
When using DAPAWz, don't:
- Provide false information about yourself or your dog, or impersonate someone else.
- Abuse, threaten, or harass facility staff, trainers, or other customers.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its data.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to submit fraudulent bookings or payment claims.
Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if we reasonably believe your dog's presence poses an ongoing safety risk that hasn't been resolved. Where practical, we'll tell you why. You can close your own account at any time as described above.
Reviews
If you leave a review of a training program, it should reflect your honest experience. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, off-topic, or that disclose someone else's personal information.
The DAPAWz name and content
"DAPAWz" and our logo are our trademarks. The app's design, text, and code belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose — booking and managing your own dog's services. Photos and notes you upload about your dog remain yours; you give us the license needed to store and display them back to you and to facility staff so we can provide the service.
Changes to these terms or the service
We may update these terms or change, add, or remove features of the service as it evolves. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use DAPAWz after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Before going to court, please contact us at hello@dapawz.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly — most problems are easier to fix that way. Nothing here limits any right you have to bring a claim in your own country's courts if you're a consumer protected by mandatory local law.
